Iadipaolo Update

Hey Christmas shoppers. Hope you are almost done with your Holiday shopping. I know I am not. This last week has been a little crazy at the Iadipaolo house. Sofia had a little stomach bug Tuesday and missed 2 days of school. I will admit, taking care of a sick 4 year old and 2 baby boys is quite the task. Sofia is much better and made it back to school yesterday for her school Christmas party and Christmas program last night as the preschool sang Christmas Carols.

This saturday will be a full day. in the morning we have the Santa Breakfast at Dunlap High, then a birthday party of a classmate of Sofia's in the afternoon and to end the day we are hosting my Mom's side (Wamboldt) of the family Christmas party.
We are very excited for Christmas next week. Sofia has asked Santa for a lot of things. Hopefully he can fit them all in his sleigh. Until next time this is Vince signing off

Baby its cold outside...

Its cold outside and so that means only 1 thing. You guessed right: Sandra is sleeping with a hoodie on at night again. Its my favorite time of year. I love putting up the Christmas tree and shopping for presents for people I love. Also a tradition that Sandra has forced upon me is shopping the day after Thanksgiving. I do enjoy it a little, seeing people go crazy and the mass hysteria at the stores.
Sofia will be very happy with what Santa is bringing her this year. Toy Story 3 will be a big part of the presents as well as the Disney Princesses of course.
This weekend will be awesome. Sandra and I are going out on a date saturday night for the first time in a while. Santi will probably have to go with us (for feeding reasons) but it will be nice to go out to dinner without a babbling 4 year old. Sofia's new nickname is Gupta. Gupta is from the NBC show Outsourced. He talks a lot and doesn't make much sense just like Sofia.
Well, until next time I have some free time ( Like now when Sofia is at school and both Santi and Cooper are taking naps for me ) Stay warm!!!

Its been a while...

Well, Its about a week away from my (Vince) favorite holiday of the year. Thanksgiving is the best day ever. You get to eat a lot of food, watch football, and spend time with your crazy family. I love it and can't wait to sing "The Thanksgiving song" by Adam Sandler all day long in my head. Its also great cause Christmas is around the corner as well. You gotta love putting up the Christmas tree and lights on the house. I know I do

Things are going well in the Iadipaolo household. Santiago is rolling over and getting better everyday at sitting up. Sofia is loving preschool. Sandra is the best spanish teacher ever and Daddy Day care is going well. I do love the afternoons when Sofia is at school and both boys take a nap.

Sandra and I are both still running and eating better. I run outside still even in the cold weather. Sandra runs the halls of the high school after school. I am down to 188 lbs, Around what I weighed 6 years ago when we got married (weight loss of 60 lbs since march) and Sandra is back to her high school weight. The main thing is we feel good, looking good is a plus as well :)
Have a good Turkey day blogfans.

Fundraising for Costa Rica Trip 2011

Hi Friends/Family!!
I'm leading a trip to Costa Rica this upcoming summer and thought I'd share our fundraiser. I'm selling the product too since I do extra excursions with the kids and pay for them myself. The group's website is below and you can browse the products that we are selling, BUT I advice you to message me your order because if you order it online then you'll have to pay shipping. So, you're in my area, then it will come to my house free of charge and I will deliver to you :)
I think the pasta IS a lot of FUN and makes great gag gifts, is great for parties, and you may even want to buy some for yourself (I am!)
Have fun browsing Fun Pasta!!

3 day weekend

Hi folks-
Columbus day weekend and here's what we did... minus monday.

Friday- we drove to Des Moines, IA for a wedding and got to hotel @10 went to bed @11:30. We were given an awesome discount by our friend Wolf and he was there to.

Saturday- in the morning Sofia & Vince went swimming and Santi & I hung around in the room. Then after we all got ready we went shopping at a mall. I found a cute dress 3 sizes smaller than what I was BEFORE I got pregnant with Santi. VERY AWESOME! Then we got ready for the wedding and went. The wedding was very kid-friendly to our surprise and it was thoughtful of the bride and groom to think of the kids invited. They had a kid table with games, puzzles, coloring books, crayons, etc. They also had all the kids served at the tables while the adults had to go to a buffet (which was DELICIOUS). They also had a candy toss for the kids and each kid had a welcome message from the bride & groom along with a baggy to collect the candy. It was such a nice gesture :)

Sunday- we drove home after breakfast, but had a lay over in Davenport and got to eat lunch with Omar and his girlfriend Amanda. Then after watching the Bears win and the Packers lose in OT we made it home.

Monday- got some things planned. Dentist appt, doctor appt, and relaxing!!

GRANDPA IS FINE!

So they did the EKG and they diagnosed him with Angina which I guess it has the same symptoms as a heart attack but doesn't have the permanent damage. He is back in their apartment in Boiro and will be back on Thursday. My mom is exhausted with Abuelo & Abuela. She's ready to come back, but has gotten much done even though she lost 5 days at the hospital.

Thanks to all who prayed or thought of my family. It does mean a lot to us!!!

Calling all prayer warriors!!!

Hi to all. It's been quite the day. My mom left for Spain on Sunday and took my grandparents with her. There task was to get an apartment ready for sale, figure out all the banking stuff, and of course visit family. They were out on a stroll this morning and my grandfather started complaining of major chest pain and being cold. My mom got some help and they took him to the hospital. They were told he may have had a heart attack and was transported to Santiago de Compostela (the city/saint that our son was named after). That's all I know for now. Also, my grandmother has Alzheimer's so she's even more confused now. Please pray for all of them and us too. I just thank God that it happened in Spain and not here because there he's covered medically and here the bills would have sky rocketed. Also, there he has his brother and his sister that can see him. That's his "home". I'm in high spirits and hope that everything turns out well. Whatever the outcome it's in God's hands. Thanks ahead for your prayers and will post more info as soon as it's given to me.
